Jamie Komoroski Pleads Guilty in DUI Crash That Killed Bride Samantha Miller; Sentenced to 25 Years
Dec 2, 2024, 09:38 PM
Jamie Lee Komoroski, the woman accused of driving under the influence and causing a fatal crash that killed bride Samantha Miller, who was still in her wedding dress on her wedding night in Folly Beach, South Carolina, last year, has pleaded guilty to all charges. Komoroski entered a guilty plea to three counts of felony DUI and one count of reckless homicide resulting in death. She was sentenced to 25 years in prison. The crash occurred when Komoroski, driving at more than twice the speed limit and with a blood alcohol level over three times the legal limit, collided with a golf cart carrying Miller, her new husband Aric Hutchinson, and members of the wedding party. Miller died at the scene, while Hutchinson and others were seriously injured.
