A Pakistani accountability court has sentenced former Prime Minister Imran Khan to 14 years in prison and fined him PKR 1 million after finding him guilty of corrupt practices in the £190 million Al-Qadir Trust case. His wife, Bushra Bibi, was also convicted and sentenced to 7 years in prison with a fine of PKR 0.5 million. The verdict was announced on Friday at the court session held at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, where Bushra Bibi was arrested immediately after the ruling.
