The United States is set to send $1.25 billion in military aid to Ukraine in the coming days, aiming to deliver the assistance before President-elect Donald Trump takes office. According to reports from the White House and the Associated Press, President Joe Biden will approve the new security package, which is expected to be announced on Monday. The aid package includes air defense systems such as the National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile Systems (NASAMS) and HAWK systems, as well as Stinger missiles, 155mm and 105mm artillery rounds, and a significant amount of munitions for the NASAMS and HAWK systems. This latest assistance brings total U.S. military support to Ukraine to over $70 billion since the war began.
