Russia Downs 68 Ukrainian Drones Across 8 Regions, Strikes Military Targets in Ukraine

Russia's Defense Ministry reported that it downed 68 Ukrainian drones overnight across eight regions of the country. The highest number of drones, 25, were destroyed over the Bryansk region, followed by 17 over Crimea, 11 over the Krasnodar region, and 10 over the Smolensk region. Additional drones were downed over Tver (2), Rostov (1), Kursk (1), and Kaluga (1). The ministry also stated that Russian forces conducted a coordinated strike on a military airfield and a defense industry facility in Ukraine, targeting infrastructure and a plant producing gunpowder charges for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The attack on the Smolensk region resulted in a fire at an oil depot due to drone debris, as reported by the regional governor.
