Colombia Accepts Deportees Under Trump's Terms; U.S. Holds Tariffs in Reserve

The White House announced that Colombia has agreed to all of President Trump's terms regarding the acceptance of deported migrants, including the unrestricted acceptance of deportation flights on U.S. military aircraft without delay or limitation. The agreement comes after President Trump threatened tariffs, sanctions, visa revocations on Colombian officials, and enhanced customs inspections on all cargo. As a result of Colombia's compliance, the United States will hold the fully drafted tariffs and sanctions in reserve, remaining unsigned unless Colombia fails to honor the agreement.
