President Donald Trump has granted full and unconditional pardons to two former Washington, D.C., police officers, Terence Sutton and Andrew Zabavsky, who were convicted in the 2020 death of 20-year-old Karon Hylton-Brown, a D.C. native and father. Hylton-Brown died during an unlawful police chase when he collided with another vehicle while riding a moped. Sutton was convicted of second-degree murder and sentenced to prison, while Zabavsky was sentenced to 48 months for covering up the circumstances of the chase.
