Matrixport Projects Bitcoin at $160,000 by 2025 as ETF Inflows Top $4 Billion
Dec 13, 2024, 09:52 AM
Matrixport, a leading cryptocurrency financial services platform, has released a report projecting that Bitcoin's price could reach $160,000 by 2025. The bullish forecast is attributed to the increasing demand for Bitcoin ETFs, which have seen net inflows exceeding $4 billion during the first weeks of December, including $596.6 million in net inflows yesterday alone. Favorable macroeconomic developments and the expansion of global liquidity pools are also contributing factors. Institutional investors like MicroStrategy, which recently purchased 21,550 BTC, continue to accumulate the cryptocurrency. Additionally, with only 450 new Bitcoins mined daily, miners are hoarding Bitcoin to counter diminishing profits and rising operational costs, leading to a decreasing supply on exchanges.
