Trump Appoints Indian-American Sriram Krishnan as Senior AI Policy Advisor, to Work with David Sacks

President Donald Trump has appointed Sriram Krishnan, an Indian-American and former general partner at Andreessen Horowitz, as the Senior Policy Advisor for Artificial Intelligence at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Krishnan, who previously worked at Microsoft, will work closely with David Sacks, who has been named as Trump's 'czar' for AI and cryptocurrency. This appointment aims to ensure continued American leadership in AI and to shape and coordinate AI policy across the government. Additionally, Trump has appointed Michael J.K. Kratsios as the Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, where he will also serve as an Assistant to the President for Science and Technology. Dr. Lynne Parker has been named as the executive director of the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology and counselor to the director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.
