Hyundai to Offer Free NACS Adapters for EV Customers to Access 20,000 Tesla Superchargers Starting in 2025
Dec 23, 2024, 08:10 PM
Hyundai Motor North America has announced that it will provide free NACS adapters to its electric vehicle (EV) customers, enabling them to charge at over 20,000 Tesla Supercharger stations across the United States. The initiative, set to begin in the first quarter of 2025, will be available to owners of model-year 2024 and earlier Hyundai EVs, including the IONIQ 5, IONIQ 6, Kona Electric, and IONIQ hatchback, as well as the 2025 models of IONIQ 5, IONIQ 6, and Kona Electric. Customers can request the adapter through the MyHyundai owner portal. This move is part of Hyundai's strategy to facilitate the transition to electric vehicles by expanding charging options for its customers.
