Sony Group has officially announced its acquisition of a 10% stake in Kadokawa, the parent company of FromSoftware, known for its popular game Elden Ring. The deal involves Sony purchasing 12,054,100 new shares of Kadokawa for approximately 50 billion yen. With this investment, Sony becomes Kadokawa's largest shareholder, holding a total of about 10% of its shares, including previously held shares.
