Texas A&M Secures Largest Win Over Texas Since 1993, 80-60 in SEC Opener

The Texas A&M Aggies defeated the Texas Longhorns 80-60 in a dominating performance during their SEC basketball opener at Reed Arena. The game marked the Longhorns' first official SEC men's basketball game and the renewal of the Lone Star Showdown rivalry. Tied at halftime 37-37, the Aggies surged in the second half, outscoring Texas 43-23, including a 15-2 run to start the half.
