81-Year-Old Raphael Diagnosed with Cerebral Lymphoma at Hospital 12 de Octubre, Cancels Victoria 2025 Tour
Dec 26, 2024, 04:44 PM
Spanish singer Raphael, aged 81, has been diagnosed with a primary cerebral lymphoma and is currently undergoing treatment at the Hospital 12 de Octubre in Madrid. The medical report indicates that Raphael has two cerebral nodules in the left hemisphere, which explains the neurological symptoms he experienced recently. He is expected to be discharged in the coming days, with treatment to continue on an outpatient basis. Specialists have recommended a prolonged period of rest and recovery during his treatment. Raphael was admitted to the hospital on December 18 after feeling unwell during the recording of a TV program, 'La Revuelta.' His son, Jacobo, expressed hope that Raphael would be discharged on the upcoming Friday. Due to his health condition, Raphael has canceled his international tour 'Victoria 2025,' which was scheduled to take place in the United States, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, and Mexico in early 2025. The concerts he was set to perform at the WiZink Center in Madrid last week were also canceled. His agency, RLM, has apologized for the cancellations and expressed gratitude for the support from fans and the media.
