77 Nobel Laureates Urge Senate to Reject Trump's Anti-Vaccine Health Nominee RFK Jr.

Seventy-seven Nobel Prize winners have signed an open letter urging the US Senate to reject the nomination of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Secretary of Health and Human Services. The laureates cite Kennedy's lack of credentials and relevant experience in medicine, science, public health, or administration, as well as his opposition to vaccines such as those that prevent measles and polio. They warn that his appointment could pose a risk to public health and undermine the United States' global leadership in biomedical research and public health. The letter marks the first time in recent years that Nobel laureates have united against a cabinet nominee.
