U.S. Navy Awards Raytheon $590M for Next Generation Jammer System for F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet

The U.S. Navy has awarded Raytheon, a subsidiary of RTX Corp., a $590 million production contract for the Next Generation Jammer Mid-Band (NGJ-MB) system. This system is designed to enhance the electronic warfare capabilities of U.S. and Australian combat jets, specifically the F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet. Raytheon has also completed the Delta Design Review ahead of schedule for its Advanced Electronic Warfare (ADVEW) prototype, further improving the survivability and electronic attack capabilities of these aircraft.
