The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Houston Texans 23-14 to advance to their seventh consecutive AFC Championship Game, a streak one short of the New England Patriots' record of eight straight appearances. Led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs have reached the conference title game every season since Mahomes became the starter seven years ago. The AFC Championship Game will be held next Sunday, January 26, at 6:30 PM ET at Arrowhead Stadium, where the Chiefs have hosted six of their last seven conference title games.
