US Airstrikes in Deir ez-Zor Kill ISIS Leader Abu Yusif; No Civilian Casualties

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that it conducted precision airstrikes in Syria, killing ISIS leader Abu Yusif, also known as Mahmud, along with another ISIS operative and a total of 12 militants. The airstrikes took place on December 19th in the Dayr az Zawr (Deir ez-Zor) province, an area formerly controlled by Assad's forces and Russia.
