Bailey Zappe Becomes Browns' 40th Starting QB, Throws TD and Pick-Six vs. Ravens

Bailey Zappe started at quarterback for the Cleveland Browns in their season finale against the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday, becoming the team's 40th different starting quarterback since 1999 and the 11th since 2022. Head coach Kevin Stefanski indicated that both Zappe and rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson (DTR) would see playing time, and the team rotated between them during the game. Zappe began the game with a 21-yard pass on his first play but threw a pick-six on his second pass attempt. He also started the second half and connected with tight end Jordan Akins for a touchdown in the fourth quarter. Despite efforts to rally, the Browns trailed the Ravens 21-10 late in the game.
