Jan 14, 2025, 02:51 PM
Speaker Mike Johnson has removed Representative Thomas Massie, a frequent critic of his, from the House Rules Committee, according to Fox News. Massie has been replaced by Representative Morgan Griffith, and Representative Brian Jack has replaced Representative Guy Reschenthaler on the committee. The changes were confirmed by a roster viewed by Axios, and the GOP conference voted to approve the new lineup. Massie, known for his criticism of Johnson, was the sole Republican 'no' vote against Johnson's speakership.
