The Syrian National Army (SNA), backed by Turkish security forces, has made significant advances in the Syrian city of Manbij as part of Operation Dawn of Freedom. According to Turkish security sources, the SNA has now taken control of approximately 80% of the city, previously occupied by the PKK/YPG. The operation has seen the liberation of the town of Urayma and the village of Umm Dadat, with the SNA entering the city center of Manbij. Reports also confirm that the SNA has captured the village of El-Hamar from PKK/YPG terrorists. The offensive aims to clear the region of PKK/PYD/YPG forces, which are accused of seeking support from various external entities.
