Jan 27, 2025, 06:56 PM
The Las Vegas Raiders have officially announced the hiring of Pete Carroll as their new head coach, making him the oldest coach in the NFL at 73. Carroll, who previously led the Seattle Seahawks to two Super Bowl appearances and won one championship, is expected to bring his extensive experience to improve the team's performance after a 4-13 season. Alongside Carroll, John Spytek has been appointed as the new General Manager. The decision was made by Raiders ownership, including Tom Brady and other stakeholders. The team introduced both Carroll and Spytek at a press conference on Monday at 11 a.m. PT at the Intermountain Health Performance Center. The Raiders are optimistic that Carroll's leadership will turn around the franchise.
