Tether, a prominent stablecoin issuer, has minted an additional 1 billion USDT tokens on the Ethereum blockchain, bringing the total supply of USDT to $135.78 billion. This move adds fresh liquidity to the market, with the minting activity occurring at Tether's treasury. Since November 6, Tether has minted a total of 17 billion USDT across both Ethereum and Tron networks.
