Ukrainian forces conducted a missile strike on the city of Lgov in Russia's Kursk region on December 25, 2024, using HIMARS missiles. The attack resulted in the deaths of four civilians and injuries to five others. According to Acting Governor Alexander Khinshtein, the strike targeted civilian areas and infrastructure, causing significant damage to residential buildings, a beauty salon, and a section of a gas pipeline. Ukrainian sources claim the attack successfully hit the command post of the 810th Russian Marine Brigade, while Russian sources report that civilian facilities were hit.
