Constellation Energy Corp. has secured over $1 billion in contracts from the U.S. government to supply nuclear power. The company will provide more than 1 million megawatt-hours per year of carbon-free electricity, including nuclear power, to over 13 government agencies. A 10-year, $840 million contract with the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) will support upgrades to Constellation's nuclear fleet, adding approximately 1,100 megawatts of capacity. The agreements also include energy savings and conservation measures at five GSA-owned facilities. This deal marks a significant step in federal clean energy procurement and supports the expansion and enhancement of the country's largest nuclear fleet.
