Following a deadly terrorist attack in New Orleans on New Year's Day, where a driver plowed a pickup truck into crowds on Bourbon Street, killing 10 and injuring at least 35, authorities have placed the Superdome on lockdown for security sweeps. The Sugar Bowl, a College Football Playoff quarterfinal game between Georgia and Notre Dame scheduled for Wednesday night, has been postponed until tomorrow, according to local news reports from WDSU. Police Commissioner Anne Kirkpatrick stated that officers are working to ensure safety at the event.
