Syrian rebel leader Ahmed al-Sharaa, known as Abu Mohammad al-Julani, announced that Syria is not seeking conflict with Israel, stating that with the departure of Iranian forces, Israel has no justification to intervene. He declared that the Ministry of Defense will dissolve all armed factions, including Palestinian groups, ensuring no weapons remain outside state control. Compulsory military service will be abolished, except for certain specializations required for short periods.
