IDF and Shin Bet Eliminate Hamas Nukhba Commander Abd al-Hadi Sabah in Drone Strike Linked to October 7 Kibbutz Nir Oz Attack
Dec 31, 2024, 05:41 PM
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Shin Bet have confirmed the elimination of Abd al-Hadi Sabah, a commander in Hamas's elite Nukhba force, in a targeted drone strike. Sabah, who led the attack on Kibbutz Nir Oz during the October 7, 2023, massacre, was killed in the Western Khan Yunis Battalion area. He was operating from a shelter in the designated humanitarian area in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza. The IDF and Shin Bet stated that Sabah was responsible for leading the infiltration into Kibbutz Nir Oz and had also directed numerous terrorist attacks against IDF troops throughout the ongoing conflict. The strike was part of a broader operation against terrorists involved in the October 7 massacre.
