Three Shot, One Stabbed at Phoenix Airport Terminal 4 on Christmas Night After Family Dispute

Three people were shot and one was stabbed during a family dispute that escalated into violence at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport on Christmas night, police said. The incident occurred around 9:45 p.m. at an airport restaurant outside the security checkpoints in Terminal 4. Video surveillance shows the individuals, who were all acquainted, engaged in a verbal argument that turned physical, leading to one person producing a firearm. One of the injured parties sustained life-threatening injuries. A juvenile female and a man were detained in the airport parking garage. The altercation prompted a temporary shutdown of operations at parts of Terminal 4 and the PHX Sky Train station, though airport services have since returned to normal with some areas still restricted as investigations continue.
