Russia reported on Saturday that its air defense systems, specifically the S-400 and Pantsir-SM, successfully intercepted eight U.S.-supplied ATACMS missiles launched by Ukraine, along with 72 drones. The Russian Defense Ministry stated that these ATACMS missiles, which have a range of 300 kilometers, were downed. This incident follows Moscow's warnings that the use of such missiles could provoke a hypersonic ballistic missile attack on central Kyiv. Additionally, the Russian military claimed to have captured the Ukrainian village of Nadiia in the eastern Luhansk region, amidst ongoing conflicts.
