The first surgery, performed on December 10, involved draining the hematoma, while a second procedure on December 12 aimed to embolize the meningeal arteries to prevent further bleeding. Medical reports indicate that Lula is lucid, oriented, and has been able to eat and walk around the hospital. His doctors expect him to be discharged from the hospital by early next week, potentially as soon as Tuesday, December 17.
