Four Chilean Nationals Arrested for Burglary at Joe Burrow's $7.5 Million Hamilton County Mansion on December 9
Jan 22, 2025, 12:33 PM
Four Chilean nationals, identified as Alexander Chavez, Bastian Morales, Jordan Sanchez, and Sergio Cabello, have been arrested in connection with a burglary at the $7.5 million mansion of Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow in Hamilton County, Ohio, on December 9, 2024. The arrests were made following a traffic stop on January 10, 2025, where police discovered items believed to be stolen from Burrow's home, including an old LSU shirt, a Bengals hat, and a designer bag. The suspects were found to be in the country illegally, having either overstayed their visas or entered without permission. The men face charges including participating in a criminal gang and possessing criminal tools, with window punchers and the smell of marijuana also found in their vehicle. They initially provided fake IDs to the police. The burglary occurred while Burrow was away, and model Olivia Ponton, who was in the house at the time, reported the incident to the police. The suspects are part of a South American theft group and are also linked to a broader investigation involving burglaries of multi-million dollar homes across multiple states.
