Jupiter Exchange, a decentralized exchange aggregator on the Solana blockchain, is set to distribute over $630 million worth of its JUP tokens in what is being called the 'Jupuary' airdrop. The airdrop, scheduled to go live on January 22, 2025, at 3:30 PM UTC, will see approximately 2 million eligible wallets claim a share of 700 million JUP tokens. This event marks the largest airdrop in the history of cryptocurrency, with JUP tokens currently trading at $0.86. Jupiter has advised users to create a profile and verify an email to claim their tokens, and has noted that Solana's network may experience congestion, suggesting that there is no rush as eligible wallets have up to three months to claim their tokens.
