Tether Adds $705.25 Million in Bitcoin to Reserves, Total Now $7.7 Billion After 9-Month Dormancy

Tether has added 7,629 Bitcoin, valued at approximately $705.25 million, to its reserves from Bitfinex, marking the first activity in its Bitcoin reserves after a nine-month period of dormancy. This transaction increases Tether's total Bitcoin holdings to 82,983 BTC, which were accumulated at an average price of $36,125, and are now valued at $7.68 billion, bringing the total value of Tether's Bitcoin reserves to $7.7 billion.
