Jennifer Hill Charged With Fraudulent Voter Registration for 2024 Election, Linked to New Pennsylvania Project
Dec 20, 2024, 05:30 PM
Jennifer Hill, a 38-year-old resident of Collingdale, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, has been charged with attempting to fraudulently register four individuals to vote in the 2024 presidential election. Hill, who worked as a canvasser for the New Pennsylvania Project, a voting rights organization, is accused of trying to register her deceased father, her grandmother, an unidentified person, and someone who died in her home in 2011. She used an app provided by the Pennsylvania Department of State to submit over 310 voter registration forms, of which 181 were successful and 129 were rejected. One fraudulent registration was successful, but no ballot was cast using that registration. Hill faces charges including forgery and tampering with public records. The case has prompted calls for a review of voter registration processes and election integrity measures in Pennsylvania.
