U.S. Treasury Confirms Several Workstations Hacked by China, No Wider Impact on Federal Agencies

The U.S. Department of Treasury confirmed earlier this month that several of its workstations were hacked by a group believed to be linked to China. The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) reported that there is no indication the breach has affected any other federal agency. The U.S. cyber watchdog agency stated that it found no signs of a potential spillover from the Treasury's security breach to other federal entities.
