Archaeologists have unearthed a 1,800-year-old silver amulet near Frankfurt, Germany, dating back to between 230 and 270 AD, which contains what is believed to be the oldest known evidence of Christianity north of the Alps. The amulet, measuring 3.5 cm in size and found in the Roman city of Nida, was digitally unrolled using advanced computer tomography technology to reveal an 18-line Latin inscription invoking Jesus Christ and Saint Titus.
