White House: Drone Sightings in Multiple States Pose No Security Risk, Says John Kirby
Dec 16, 2024, 10:05 PM
Recent drone sightings across the United States, including in New Jersey, Maryland, Massachusetts, and other states, have been assessed by the White House National Security Council as not posing any national security or safety risk. NSC spokesman John Kirby stated that the activity involves lawful commercial, hobbyist, or law enforcement drones, along with some aircraft or even stars mistaken for drones. The sightings, which began in mid-November, have been closely monitored by US law enforcement, and no unlawful activities have been detected.
