Texas Man Michael Lewis Charged with Felony Stalking of WNBA Star Caitlin Clark

Michael Lewis, a 55-year-old man from Denton, Texas, was arrested at a hotel in Indianapolis on Sunday on felony stalking charges after allegedly sending WNBA star Caitlin Clark more than 15 threats and sexually explicit messages via social media. According to court documents, Lewis sent messages on X, including one that read, "Been driving around your house 3x a day. But don't call the law..." He claimed to have an "imaginary relationship" with Clark. Despite warnings from authorities, he traveled to Indianapolis and continued his actions. Clark reported feeling fearful since learning about the messages and altered her public appearances as a result.
