Former Indian PM Manmohan Singh Dies at 92 at Delhi's AIIMS

Former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh passed away at the age of 92 at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi on December 26, 2024. Singh was admitted to the emergency department of AIIMS around 8 PM after experiencing a sudden loss of consciousness at his home. He was being treated for age-related medical conditions, and resuscitative measures were started immediately. The hospital confirmed his death at 9:51 PM. AIIMS issued a statement expressing profound grief over his demise. Singh served as the 14th Prime Minister of India and was renowned as an economist and statesman.
