Mohammed Al-Bashir has been appointed as the interim Prime Minister of Syria to lead the transitional government until March 1, 2025, following the fall of President Bashar al-Assad's regime. Al-Bashir, an engineer and politician born in 1983 in Idlib, previously headed the Syrian Salvation Government that administered Idlib province and is closely associated with Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS).
