Explosion Destroys Five Apartments in The Hague's Tarwekamp; At Least 4 Injured, Up to 20 Feared Trapped

A powerful explosion rocked a three-story residential building in the Tarwekamp area of The Hague early Saturday morning, causing a partial collapse and destroying five apartments. At least four people were injured and taken to hospital, according to emergency services. Firefighters are searching for victims under the rubble, with fears that up to twenty people could be trapped. "At this moment, the emergency services are busy rescuing and searching for people and fighting the fire," the city's fire service said. Police are searching for a car that was seen driving away at high speed shortly after the explosion. The cause of the explosion is still under investigation. The Prime Minister expressed shock over the incident.
