An Israeli airstrike has killed five journalists in Gaza. The journalists were in a clearly marked press vehicle belonging to Al-Quds Today channel near Al-Awda Hospital in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. The vehicle was targeted by Israeli forces while the journalists were sleeping inside, and their bodies were burnt beyond recognition according to local reports. The journalists were identified as Fadi Hassouna, Ibrahim Al Sheikh Ali, Mohammed Al-Leddah, Faisal Abu Al-Qumsan, and Ayman Al-Jadi, who was awaiting the birth of his first child. The attack brings the total number of journalists killed in Gaza to 201 since the start of the conflict, according to Gaza’s health authorities.
