President Donald Trump has announced that he will pardon individuals convicted for their involvement in the January 6, 2021, Capitol attack, referring to them as 'hostages'. Speaking at the Inaugural Parade at Capital One Arena, Trump stated, 'We’ll be signing pardons for a lot of people.' Reports indicate that as many as 758 protestors could be pardoned today.
