DUI Arrest in California Uncovers Spider Monkey in $400K Rolls-Royce
Dec 31, 2024, 11:54 PM
A traffic stop in Madera County, California, on Monday night led to the arrest of a Rolls-Royce Ghost driver for DUI and possession of cannabis for sale. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) stopped the luxury vehicle for speeding on Highway 99. During the search, officers discovered a one-month-old spider monkey hidden in the driver's jacket. The spider monkey, which is illegal to own as a pet in California, was confiscated and taken by Animal Control for proper care. The driver, identified as Ali Mused Adelmuhomed of Adelanto, was booked into Madera County Jail and faces multiple charges, including possession of an exotic animal. The Rolls-Royce, valued at over $400,000, was towed.
