Dec 30, 2024, 02:48 AM
A 77-year-old man, Norio Nakamura, was arrested in Tokyo for allegedly murdering his 77-year-old wife by running her over with a car in a parking lot in Edogawa Ward on December 27, 2024. Nakamura admitted to the crime, stating that he was driven to kill his wife after she accused him of having an affair. Following an argument, Nakamura went to the parking lot to cool off, but his wife confronted him and stood in front of the car, leading to the fatal incident. A passerby found the wife unconscious and bleeding, and she was pronounced dead after being taken to a hospital. The wife suffered a broken pelvis and rib. Nakamura was apprehended later that day in Funabashi, Chiba Prefecture.
