At UFC 310, Eryk Anders (16-8, 1 NC), who weighed in at 193 pounds, defeated former middleweight champion Chris Weidman (16-7), who weighed 194.5 pounds, via technical knockout (TKO) in the second round of their 195-pound catchweight bout. The fight had been rescheduled from UFC 309 due to Anders' food poisoning. Weidman started the fight strong, but Anders gained control with effective ground-and-pound, leading to referee Mark Smith stopping the fight at 4:51 in the second round.
