Fire at Kartalkaya Ski Resort Hotel in Bolu, Turkey Kills 10, Injures 32

A fire broke out at the Grand Kartal Hotel at the Kartalkaya Ski Resort in Bolu, Turkey, early on Tuesday morning, resulting in at least 10 deaths and 32 injuries. The fire started around 3:30 am in the hotel's fourth-floor restaurant and rapidly spread throughout the 12-story building. Some victims died after jumping from windows in panic. Approximately 234 guests were staying at the hotel, which reportedly lacked a fire escape. Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya confirmed the death toll via social media and stated that rescue efforts involved 267 personnel from various agencies. Bolu Governor Abdülaziz Aydın also provided updates on the situation. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
