BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF Holds $18B, Ends 71-Day Inflow Streak, Nears GBTC

BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF has recently achieved significant milestones, holding 273,596 BTC worth approximately $18 billion, surpassing MicroStrategy's holdings by 59,350 BTC. The ETF reached the same level of assets under management as the Gold ETF in just 71 days, a feat that took the latter 808 days. However, after a period of consistent inflows, the ETF experienced its first day with $0 inflows, ending a 71-day streak of positive inflows. This shift occurs as the ETF is just 30,000 BTC away from surpassing GBTC's holdings. Meanwhile, overall US Bitcoin ETFs now account for 55.8% of the size of US Gold ETFs, with a total AUM of $58.3 billion. Notably, BlackRock bought 571 BTC yesterday, while 450 Bitcoin are mined per day.
