CDC's 2025 Vaccine Schedule Expands to Over 200 Injections, 25 Doses by 12 Months

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has released its 2025 vaccine schedule, which now includes over 200 routine vaccine injections for children, a significant increase from the seven recommended in 1986. This expansion includes 14 vaccines administered through 25 doses by the age of 12 months, covering diseases like Hepatitis B, Hib, PCV, Rotavirus, among others. Critics argue that this increase coincides with pharmaceutical companies gaining broad immunity from liability for vaccine injuries, suggesting that the schedule might be influenced by factors other than public health. The schedule now requires 26 doses of vaccines by the time a child is 12 months old.
