Jan 2, 2025, 09:11 AM
China’s Ministry of Commerce announced that it has added 28 U.S. entities, including major defense firms such as Lockheed Martin, Raytheon Missiles & Defense, General Dynamics, Boeing Defense, Space & Security, Raytheon/Lockheed Martin Javelin Joint Venture, and General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, to its export control list. Additionally, China added 10 U.S. companies, including Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, to its unreliable entity list for participating in arms sales to Taiwan. The measures, enacted in accordance with Chinese laws such as the Export Control Law and regulations on dual-use items, include restrictions on the export of dual-use goods and are intended to safeguard China's national security and interests and fulfill international obligations such as non-proliferation.
