Meta has announced a significant partnership with LIV to enhance mixed reality capture and virtual camera support on its Quest platform. As part of this collaboration, Meta will deprecate its own third-person capture tool in favor of LIV's technology. This move aims to provide streamlined solutions for capturing footage of app experiences, allowing users to market and share clips more effectively. The partnership is expected to elevate VR motion capturing to the next level, leveraging LIV's expertise in mixed reality. Additionally, Meta's Social VR Platform will now be available in every country that supports MetaQuestVR and Presence Platform features.
